Light Repulsive AI
The above video is a demonstration of a light repulsive AI for my group's game. The red boxes chase the blue box endlessly but are held back by the light. Our game will allow the player to toss a ball of light on the ground to avoid being engulfed by the darkness (like how the blue box is engulfed by the red boxes at the end of the video).
For the future we might have different enemies react differently to the light, keeping a further distance or repelling faster. Both of these would be easy for me to add. Also, of course, we will replace the boxes with the player and enemies.
